Why Ohio is Right for Fuel Cells
Many people aren’t aware of just how right the conditions are for Ohio to become a major player in the fuel cell industry – and to reap the resulting economic benefits. According to Forbes, Ohio is one of five states already leading fuel cell development. And the Ohio Department of Development estimates that the US fuel cell industry could more than double by 2009.
Ohio also has the right governmental and business conditions to support fuel cell technology. State officials have established financing, grant, tax and training incentives for fuel cell manufacturing and research. And Ohio has more primary metals and polymer companies than any other US state. These materials are critical for fuel cell systems.
